This article presents the Migrant Code Theory, an innovative interdisciplinary research project investigating the cryptic and symbolic communications used by irregular migration networks on social media. Funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and conducted at the University of Tuscia under the guidance of Professor Alessandro Sterpa, the project owes its analytical model and solid technical and scientific foundation to researchers Dr. Michele Empler and Dr. Livio Calabresi.
