Biography
Andrea Zingoni is a Researcher in Computer Engineering at the Department of Economics, Engineering, Society and Business Organization (DEIM) of the University of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy), where he also teaches “Computer Science” and “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence”. He received the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Telecommunication Engineering, as well as a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Pisa (Pisa, Italy). He currently coordinates the Computer Science Research Group of his Department, which over the last five years has been involved in more than twenty projects, both at national and international levels, in collaboration with universities, research centers, private companies and public administrations. His main research interests include artificial intelligence, extended reality, image processing, remote sensing, blockchain technologies, cybersecurity and numerical signal processing, often framed within interdisciplinary contexts encompassing the fields of Education and Inclusion, Biomedicine, Smart Cities, Sports, Agritech, Economics and Finance. He is also co-founder and CEO of the company “Tech4All”, a spin-off of the University of Tuscia, whose mission is to design, develop and disseminate digital applications for Education and Inclusion.
